João Moraes Sarmento is one of the founding partners of Machado Sarmento & Associados and a lawyer with over 20 years of experience. His professional background is strongly related to the financial area, having worked for Banco de Portugal and Morgan Stanley at the beginning of his career, and working, as a lawyer, with a variety of national and international clients, SMEs and large companies to whom he advises and provides day-to-day legal support mainly in the corporate, financial and litigation areas.
Moreover, João is a member of the supervisory board of several companies with a presence in Portugal.
